Week 8 Assignment

Week 8 Assignment
1.  2 – The writer has the correct documentation however quotes it out of context. The writer does not explain that the original document is about how he seems to be these things, however his actions show different.
2.  -2 – The writer has the correct documentation and relays it to the audience correctly, however does not cite where the information about George Washington is coming from.
3. 1 – The writer mixes his ideas with the original source, there was not an in text citation so it was difficult to tell the difference between the authors ideas and what came from the source.
4. -4 – The writer does not cite the source, which makes the reader believe it is original; it is also verbatim of the original document. This appears to be intentional fraud.
5. 4 – The writer quotes the source and cites it with an in text citation, the document is also reasoned and the writers own opinion is place within the document. There is good evaluation.

·      Academic/Scholarly Journal with studies in pharmacy
·      The content is not peer reviewed
·      EBSCO Host
Part III
I found some of the articles very difficult to find. At one point I chatted with our online librarian to get some help. I learned that in citations there can be discrepancies with the actual database, for example the citation of number 3 said it was volume 5, where it was actually volume 51. It is important to look at all of the information, page numbers, author, and titles to make sure that you are finding the correct information.
